Day two in Kiboino was filled with deeper connections, compassion, and renewed hope for the community. Our team began the day with several home visits, reaching out to different households where we distributed food supplies. These moments were more than just giving they were opportunities to listen, encourage, and remind families that they are not alone. In every home we stepped into, we left behind not only food, but also a sense of care and hope for better days ahead.
We later visited the ACC, where we held meaningful discussions about the upcoming project. It was a productive engagement, allowing us to align ideas and strengthen partnerships that will help create lasting impact within the community.
As the day progressed, members of the community gathered at the chief’s office, eager to hear more about what lies ahead. We spoke to them about the upcoming project, sharing our vision and plans. Their excitement and warm reception were truly encouraging they welcomed the initiative with open hearts and great anticipation.
To conclude the day, we carried out another food distribution for the gathered community members. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as people received the support. One by one, they left for their homes with smiles, not just because of the food, but because they felt seen, heard, and valued.
It was a powerful day one that reminded us that even the smallest acts of kindness can spark hope and bring a community closer together.
