In partnership with Born to Be Awesome Organization, Wandering Women International, and Streams of Hope Organization, we had the privilege of visiting Rebirth of a Queen Rescue Center, a safe haven that provides hope, healing, and restoration for women, girls, and children who have experienced trauma and hardship.
The day was filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful connections. We conducted an interactive session on menstrual hygiene and health, where the women and girls actively participated and asked many insightful questions. Their eagerness to learn and openly discuss menstrual health was both encouraging and inspiring.
Together, we worked to put smiles on the faces of young mothers and children, reminding them that they are valued, supported, and never alone in their journey. Through shared stories and conversations, we witnessed incredible resilience, strength, and determination among the residents.
As part of the outreach, we distributed sanitary pads, panties, and other hygiene essentials to help promote dignity, confidence, and well-being. These supplies will go a long way in supporting the daily needs of the women and girls at the center.
What touched us most was the atmosphere of hope that filled the center. Despite the challenges many have faced, there was a strong sense of courage and a desire to build a brighter future.
We ended the day with joyful smiles, grateful hearts, and a renewed commitment to continue empowering women and girls. It was a beautiful reminder that when organizations come together in partnership and compassion, lives are touched, hope is restored, and communities are strengthened.
